I had the "pleasure" of chaperoning a field trip a few weeks ago for Palmer's kindergarten class. Two things: how on earth do teachers do it every day? The other mom friends and I remarked on how we literally fell into our beds that night. Oh- and why are there four field trips at the end of the year? Excessive, much?
Nevertheless, kinder are crazy and a lot of fun. There was a lot of singing and yelling and chanting our team name all day long.

Speaking of crazy little boys, Palmer had a play date with two friends from school. My sister Samantha was here to witness the insanity known as excited 6-7 yr old boys.
A meeting of the minds...
Rick and I were able to escape the craziness for a quick weekend trip to Deer Valley, Utah.
Rick had a state bar retreat filled with meetings, but we did have the chance to take advantage of the 22 inches of snow that unexpectedly fell in late April. We skied Snowbird and were quite impressed with the aggressive runs.
I was a little nervous when the gondola had a sign down below that said, "Experts only" because the lower half of the mountain was closed due to the late season.
