We've had a wonderful week at home filled with many firsts.
Palmer had his first (sponge) bath at home and does *not* like baths yet. I can imagine how fun the days will be when he is sitting in the tub splashing with toys.
First time at the hair salon. :)
First trip to the pediatrician's office. Palmer's birth weight was 8 lb, 9 oz. By the time we left the hospital, he was down to 7 lb, 14 oz. (It's typical for babies to lose weight in the first few days.) At the pediatrician's office, his weight was back up to 8 lb. Palmer is also 1/4 inch longer than last week.
My very dear friend, Adrienne, is moving to Doha, Qatar in a few days. Last night, we celebrated her friendship over dinner with a few other good friends. Aunt Adrienne is going to be missed and Palmer can't wait to see her later this summer at a wedding in Key West.
Many of you have asked how Boston is adjusting.
Rick and I have decided he is very curious, but not overly interested. I have noticed that Boston is almost always in the same room as Palmer. I have caught Boston curled up under the crib or laying under Palmer's swing. But yet, Boston doesn't completely get in Palmer's business and seems to understand that he has to be very careful.
Overall, Palmer continues to be a very sweet-natured boy and we are so in love with him. Thanks for all of your continued support and please come see us.
