Memorial Day Weekend

Like most people, Memorial Day weekend is our official kick-off to the summer, usually symbolized to us with the opening of the pool and a trip to the lake house.  Palmer experienced both for the first time.

"I'm ready for the pool.  Stop taking pictures and let's get this show on the road."

Palmer was a little confused as to why the "big bath tub" was a lot colder than he anticipated.

Brave face:

 "WAIT, I'm not so sure about this."

I love that the kiddie pool is completely shaded.  That will make things a lot easier this summer.

Then, we headed out to the lake house to visit G.G. and Pops.

And Memorial Day wouldn't be complete without a BBQ.  Aunt Samantha hosted us for a feast.

 Palmer had a blast.  :)
